This site was created with a mission to use the connecting power of the Internet to also try and find winning numbers before the drawing. If this proves to be succesful it could mean that we get a lot more winners!
There has always been a lot of fascination with the lottery. Of course, there is naturally the large amount of money that is involved which is always exciting, but there is something more. There is also the mystery which becomes solved with each lottery drawing. Which combination of numbers will briefly hold the spotlight? The only thing to know for sure is that some numbers will be designated as winners. Of course, it's a lot harder to know beforehand which numbers these will be! Or is it?
There are generally three kinds of approaches people will take to try finding the winning lottery numbers. The first way is just to leave their chance at winning up to fate by picking numbers based on their own favorites, or getting a random "quick pick" selection. The next way is to try and use logic and mathematical means to identify which numbers have a higher likelyhood of appearing next. The final way is to try and find the numbers using mystical means, such as astrology, dreams or other techniques which do not seem to be part of the natural known world. Which of these methods seems to work best? It's hard to say. There have been so many past winners of various lotteries that each one would probably say they used one of the above techniques to win.
This site has the simple goal of trying to provide better information about two simple but fascinating questions:
1. Is it actually possible to predict one or more winning numbers?
2. If it is possible to predict winning numbers, which technique appears to be most effective?
In a way, this is an ongoing science experiment. Anyone can become a member and post the numbers they hope will win a given lottery. Each person identifies which technique they use to get their numbers. The computer keeps track of all information and results, which can then be used to try and answers the questions. The best part, however, is that members may have an advantage to finding winning numbers, provided one of these techniques appears to be effective.
